Sponsored Posts and Paid Reviews

What do you think of sponsored posts and paid reviews?

Tell me the truth! Let's have a real discussion. I want some feedback. I want to deliver what readers of my blog want me to post. At http://mizmeliz.com I write about all the things I love. I cannot do sponsored posts and paid reviews on that blog because it is part of the wordpress agreement. I have been okay with that because I started that blog to express myself and to develop as a writer. Now, I have the opportunity from time to time to do a sponsored post or paid review. I would like to have the freedom to do that and certainly would like to have the income! Yet, I hesitate. Do I need to sell things or promote things for others? What do I gain from it? Popularity? Readership? Growth? What do you think? Is blogging becoming too centered on sales and marketing? Would you like for me to do sponsored posts? You know it will be great and I will only write about products and events that I love. Tell me what you think, please!
